Shake

We had a quiet Thanksgiving, complete with turkey, black beans and rice, creamed onions and peas, and other tasty dishes that are now being called "leftovers".

Now we can put out holiday decorations. I've already got my "Mistletoe" Yankee candle going. The office smells divine.

I had kennel duty yesterday, and it took us (2 people) 2 hours to get everyone sorted (even the Evil Satan Cat™ that tried to eat the morning crew. Yay for towels.)

My current employer is sponsoring a child this holiday season, and we're going to try to fill his wish list. I begged my former employer to do something- anything- charity-oriented for the holidays, and was rebuffed more than once. I'm so glad that I now work for someone who's on the same wavelength I am.

Tomorrow is my half day! (Hopefully, if Kay doesn't go further into labor. She's been in labor for three days now.)

Just Another Part of You

Today was my 13th day at work. Tomorrow will be the 14th. My next day off is the 15th.

And before you feel sorry for me, I volunteered. But man am I tired.
